When do I need a lawyer?

As a lawyer, my response is -- Whenever you have a question even remotely legal in nature!

Don't trust your friends or family! Did they go to law school? If not, how can you trust your answer.

My plumber loves people that try to fix their own plumbing! He and I came to an agreement - I won't try to fix my plumbing and he won't practice TX Family Law!

If you have some paperwork (say closing papers for the first house you have ever purchased) and you don't understand it -- talk to a professional!
