Tell the Sunset Commission to Abolish the Texas Residential Construction Commission (TRCC)

Texas homebuilders have been given free rein to take advantage of ordinary Texans for far too long. We now have a unique opportunity to demand real reforms that will improve protections and options for Texas homeowners.

The staff of the Sunset Commission recently announced their recommendation that the TRCC be abolished, a move long-supported by consumer and homeowners organizations. The Texas Sunset Advisory Commission, a committee of lawmakers and citizens, is currently conducting a top-to-bottom review of the Texas Residential Construction Commission to recommend changes in the way Texas oversees the homebuilding industry.
